WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"Betsy's artwork is amazing. It’s original and elegant and unique down to each rock. I have purchased a set to include in my display on my coffee table. I can’t tell you how delighted it makes me to live with these rocks!"

Many collectors start by purchasing a gift for a friend and then slowly build a collection for themselves. One of my favorite collaborations is when a collector has a favorite bowl and wants to use it for a new wrappedrockz collection. Curating a collection is a joy. A few of my favorite are below.
I have also collected quite a few stories of people giving the wrapped rocks as a gift to people in healing crisis. Life isn't always rosy and in difficult times, a little piece of nature to hold in our hands, like a touchstone, is a true, natural gift. The wrapped rocks have been used at family memorials as gifts, to remember the life of a beloved one.
Commemorating special occasions has also been a wonderful use of the rocks. I am working with a client on a specially designed wrapped rock for gifts for the bridal party at her future wedding. Collectors also have gifted wrapped rocks for birthdays and special holidays.
I am infinitely blessed to have such wonderful collectors of my work. The energy and prayers I put into the Wrappedrockz when I make them comes back to me constantly. I am always happy to hear people's stories about how they use my rocks in their daily lives or how they have given them as gifts to friends and loved ones.
I also have had the honor to custom wrap special rocks sent to me by collectors. One of my favorite "collaborations" is below, some small beach stones from Big Sur, each with their own character. - Betsy Bauer, Santa Fe, New Mexico
I saw the article on Betsy Bauer’s “wrappedrockz" in the American Craft Council magazine and called her studio looking for assistance in designing a small collection of rocks for my home. Betsy helped me mix rock sizes, colors, shapes and the different “wraps” and knots that hug each of them. I love what we put together. The collection sits on my kitchen bar where I eat, work, and relax, allowing me to enjoy and touch them all the time. They make me happy.
"I was thrilled to recently acquire my collection of Wrappedrockz from Betsy as I had been admiring them for some time and knew they would be a perfect compliment to my home. Each piece is artfully crafted and have a soul each of their own. As a collection, they play off each other and enhance each other's beauty. In holding them, you can feel the love that is embedded in each one of them. What a gift they are, to me, and my environment."
— Eddie Nunns
"Over the years, I have formed a small collection of Big Sur rocks which particularly appealed to me. The curves and surfaces enhance the natural beauty of the minerals from which they are formed. When I saw Betsy's work in American Craft Magazine I immediately knew that I wanted her to wrap some of my rocks. I have not been disappointed in the results. Betsy's wrapped Big Sur rocks are now prominently displayed in our living room."

"Thank you so much for the rapid sending of the rocks! I love them. And also for the little extra pieces. They all look perfect on the bowl I had chosen! You are lucky to live in Santa Fe, the most wonderful city in the country. We've been there six times. Thanks for making something beautiful. We appreciate your talent."

"I think I first saw Betsy’s art in a magazine and was immediately intrigued. I love her use of cane, stones and sticks to embellish the rocks and the way she creates different “sets” of rocks. She was easy to work with, asking me which aspects of embellishing I liked. My bowl of Wrappedrockz now sits on my coffee table where I enjoy it daily."

"I was delighted that a friend connected me with Wrappedrockz. The website is a feast for the eyes. I placed an order and Betsy responded immediately. She took all my requests in stride and my wrapped rocks arrived within the week. The craftsmanship is excellent. They are beautiful, tactile and a pleasure to behold. Some were gifts, but my desk is adorned with several as well."
"I am absolutely in love with my ‘wrapped’ rock. I ordered it for myself during lockdown here in Massachusetts. I saw Betsy’s website and had to have one to cure the blues.
It has heft and feels good to hold. I ordered a large one. The craftsmanship of the wrapping is excellent. I would never have the patience to do such a pristinely tight job, if I tried. I plan to order several more as gifts this year. It’s hard to choose which design but I do really love this one."
— Sally Jacobsen
"I love these Wrappedrockz because they convey a zen-like quality of peace and serenity. They perfectly complement the feeling of calm and tranquility that I have in my home. Betsy chose these rocks specifically for me and she did a perfect job, including the selection of the bowl that they came in. I love them!"
